The Lincolnshire Volunteer Card (LVC) is a FREE countywide training programme to recognise and reward Lincolnshire Volunteers. The aim of the project is to support volunteers and individuals who wish to learn new skills that will benefit their personal development, and also enable their voluntary and community group to develop.
LVC is for everybody aged 16 and over (no upper age limit!). No previous experience of volunteering is needed, nor any qualifications – just an interest in developing new skills and an enthusiasm for volunteering in the future!
LVC covers subjects essential to volunteering, in 6 x 2 hour modules. On successful completion of all 6 modules, you will receive a certificate and a wallet-sized card, which is recognised countywide, with a paper form detailing your core training and experience – a ‘volunteering CV’, which is yours to keep and progress.
For details of courses running in your area, please visit our events page.
