Involving Lincs, the voluntary and community sector and the Health and Wellbeing Board (particularly in relation to the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS) of the board) are seeking opportunities to work more cohesively together. We have set up a page on the Involving Lincs website which we intend to build on further both to share information with the sector but also to request evidence about the impact of the sector on understanding and meeting needs identified in the JSNA and impact on the JHWS.
Discussions with the Health and Wellbeing Board have been focused on:-
- VCS is delivering services which have been mapped to every priority within the JHWS
- Much of this work is non-commissioned service delivery so any JHWS impact is potentially lacking in sustainability
- VCS contributes through improving the health and wellbeing of staff who deliver their services as well as the services themselves
- Further evaluation is necessary to fully understand the impact the VCS has on health and well-being
We are looking to collate as much evidence as possible of VCS activity against the Health and Well Being Priorities.
Our mission is to disseminate the document below across organisations and networks with the view that as many VCS organisations as possible complete any amount of the form that they have evidence against.
