Following the great success of Community Lincs’ recent internet training event in Caistor we are pleased to announce that our second series of short courses will be running in Scotter on the 7th, 9th and 11th of October. Each session will last approximately an hour and a half. If you are looking to find out a bit more about what’s available on line, how to set up and use an email account or how to contact friends and family via the web, then this could be the course for you.
If you are worried at all about the course, this is some of the feedback received from the Caistor event,” A thoroughly enjoyable and informative course. One felt that the teachers were genuinely interested in our problems and were anxious to solve them.” Or “This has been a great help. Now I need time to practice it all. Thank you very much.” As you can see people did enjoy themselves and did find the training helpful. You will be with people at the same level as yourself. You may have little or no experience or maybe want a little help to improve your skills. You need not have any prior knowledge about computers or the internet and there will not be a test at the end. This training is all about you getting the most out of the time available. We have a variety of equipment to help you find the best way for you to get on to the internet.
If you are not able to make the above course, don’t worry, we will be running more throughout West Lindsey over the coming months. IF you want to know more about this or future plans then just give us a quick call on 01529 302466 and ask to speak to Louise.
